Now it's midsummer and the light never stops. The soul and the gate to the workshop let the sunshine in to joy of both me and the instruments.
Now, as the varnish dried I’ll just do a little sanding with 400 grit sandpaper on the sound board.
A little more varnish and then the guitar should rest for about ten days untill the next step.
A year has passed and the pandemic has been replaced by a terrible war. My thoughts go to the victims in Ukraine.But not much has happened here in the middle of Sweden, except that I have had a lot of repairs of various kinds. Everything from old Levin guitars to even older violins.
This guitar was built in Ukraine in 1992. An incredibly fine instrument, but it has worked hard over the years. It was very sad when it came to me in mid-January. Since then, it has been put together piece by piece. Hopefully it soon will play its songs again.Every guitar builder should at some point build their own version of an OM model - This is mine
